Position: Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

We have immediate openings for Project Managers in our Civil/Land Development Department. Under the direction of the VP of Engineering, the incumbent will manage civil engineering projects for municipalities, counties and private developers. Duties include but are not limited to the following; client relations, invoicing, review, establishment of budgets, written proposals and project schedules, mentor and foster growth of design team and members; provide technical guidance and coordinate with other managers throughout the office.

The incumbent must have experience in general civil, water and sewer, paving and drainage, design and permitting.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Other requirements include: B.S. in Civil Engineering; Masters a plus. E.I.T., (PE is preferred) Technical proficiency with 5 yrs+ with at least 2 years in positions of project management or supervisory responsibilities, leadership capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD a must.  


 

Position: Design Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

We have immediate openings for Design Engineers. Under the direction of the Project Manager, the incumbent will perform all duties and responsibilities of a Design Engineer. Ideally, design experience should include site layout, grading, store water management, erosion and sediment control design, hydrology, hydraulics, HEC calculations, utility design. A working knowledge of Federal, State, and local jurisdictional permitting regulations is preferable.

The ideal candidate will provide conceptual input to projects during the planning stage. This position may be required to conduct some field work and site investigations. The incumbent will interface with other departments and engineers/architects in order to support project execution, therefore, excellent communication skills are a must. Also, the Design Engineer will maintain a continuing business relationship with their clients as part of ongoing business development

Key qualities for the Design Engineer, beyond technical excellence include; self-motivation, initiative, the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. REJCE expects its Design Engineers to hit the ground running as our clients are waiting for our Engineering Services.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

BS in Civil Engineering. Excellent communication and written skills are required to build relationships with clients and to manage project team members. Proficiency in AutoCAD a must.
