REJCE's Landscape Architecture department offers
a full range of professional services in this
diverse and vital aspect of land planning and
project development. Our knowledgeable and experienced
staff works in conjunction with the project's
site planners, architects, engineers and environmental
staff from the onset of conceptual and preliminary
design to delivery of complete construction drawings.
Specific areas of environmental expertise include
preliminary site analysis and assessment of site
conditions, advantages and constraints; existing
tree evaluation and determination of relocation
and removal alternatives; soil and water retention
devices, and wetlands restoration. Project planning
and development capabilities include design of
landscaping and planting plans based on jurisdictional
code requirements and client preferences; hardscape
design and selection of site amenities including
pedestrian and vehicular circulation, ADA accessible
routes and requirements; and development of specific
site facilities such as entry features, monuments
and signage, directional and security lighting,
seating and public usage facilities, fountains,
pools and water features. In addition, we offer
an extensive library of graphic capabilities,
visual aids and presentation devices utilized
for design development and the public and governmental
approval arena.
